We stopped in to grab a bite after seeing their sign of killler margaritas. Turns out all of their maragarits are pre-mixes which was disappointing. They were made with a tequila we do not like, so we had to skip it. I got a tequila Sunrise instead, which was just ok.
The fajitas were pretty good. The queso fondido was amazeballs. The staff was friendly enough, but it was a bit difficult to order with the waitress due to a bit of a language barrier. She was super nice though!
I would come back if I had a craving for fondido, but otherwise, this place would not go on my repeat list.

Went on a Saturday night, wasn't too crowded but it got busy. Seemed like everybody wanted to sit in the area with the TVs and bar. Nacho fries were a great starter, the fish tacos fried with an oatmeal batter, wow! Then we ordered a pitcher of Cadillac margarita, I felt it! Good service, they even threw in some cheese dipping sauce and a couple shots of tequila. I just wish they had booths or larger tables, when it's busy it's kinda tight. But overall great night
I had such a great time! My chicken birria tacos were good and came out hot. My margaritas were okay, until we went downstairs to sit at the bar and we met Juan who REALLY hooked us up! He knew the exact margarita to make that would give me what I was looking for and he educated us on which liqueurs worked best for which flavor of margaritas. Juan made my experience sooo much better! He’s a great addition to the staff
The only downside was the bill, you can get separate tickets but they except 3 different payments and it has to be split equally.

It's just a regular Mexican want to be a restaurant I guess you want to call it it's not that great the food was average another thing that bothered me is the only thing they didn't really do well at all it was the drinks I tried to ask him information about tequilas they had on the wall but the person the help of the two bartender there no more to the bartender himself I asked him he said know if it was better for me to get up and view what they had on the wall and me as a customer I didn't really want to do that but I had to to find out if I can find something but no they just had some average tequilas that really are no good and I'm just drinking some dry gin it was very unfortunate my stay there with my wife was not great I have to admit and like I said the food was just very average nothing great about it nothing at all it was kind of bland and he asked me like they just threw it on the pan I got it all together quickly so that we can get the hell out... I will not go there again unless they change servers or are they picked up and learn something about their food and drinks
In Lakeview there a few good neighborhood Mexican restaurants and taco places. Cesar's Killer Margaritas is definitely one of them. I've been here twice in the last year, and I've enjoyed each of my visits. On my most resent trip, I tried some interesting dishes that you should try if you go here. First, I started with a frozen blueberry margarita. Of course Cesar's is famous for its huge margaritas and in a ton of different flavors. I typically get a raspberry margarita, but I enjoyed the blueberry one as it wasn't too sweet. I then tried the torti pizza. It's basically a tortilla with melted cheese and toppings. I enjoyed it, it was kinda like an open faced quesadilla or Mexican style thin pizza. I don't think I've seen anything like it at any other Mexican restaurant. I also enjoyed the carne asada and fish tacos I got. For dessert I got churros that came out hot and crispy.
On my previous trip I tried their version of quesa-birria tacos. It was not a traditional quesa-birria as the meat was steak, but I enjoyed the treatment of the steak in melty cheese and crispy tacos.
On all of my visits, the service was fast and friendly and food came out quickly and hot. I also enjoyed the many TVs that they have around the restaurant and in the bar area. On my last visit I watched Monday Night Football. If you are a sports fan, their bar is good place to catch a game.
In sum, this good neighborhood Mexican restaurant in Lakeview that needs to on your list.

Cesars is known for their margaritas and so much more. We loved the dishes we tried, especially the quesa-barria. Not to mention, the location itself is very spacious, including a full size bar and outdoor patio. The margaritas come in many options that you can even get frozen — perfect for the summer! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Cesar's Killer Margaritas is known for its KILLER margaritas. But did you know we have plenty of specialty drinks, imported exclusive tequilas, margarita flights, spiked "killer" horchata and jamaica, sangria, beers & cervezas, and much more as we are a full bar!!!
