Spring and Summer in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago is a fantastic time to enjoy both the weather and Cesar’s Mexican cuisine, hand-prepared according to a family recipe using only the freshest ingredients. There’s nothing like eating fresh food while enjoying fresh breezes!
Cesar’s restaurant’s outdoor patio is open not only during warm months when the weather is nice, but also when it gets cold (which, as we know, it gets cold in Chicago). We add barriers to the outdoor patio along with heaters that make dining outside an absolute delight, even when it’s cold outside. To make sure you are nice and cozy, we serve a number of specialty hot winter libations, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic libations.
To Serve You Better…
Our restaurant has the best guests and to ensure everyone can enjoy dining at Cesar’s outdoor patio, we do have a few simple policies:
- 90-minute limit on all outside patio tables (that’s plenty of time to eat, digest, take in the scenery, and then let another party get the same experience; remember, you can always come back another day!).
- All outside patio dining tables have a maximum six-person seating capacity.
- Please, turn down your phone; better yet, turn it off—diners at Cesar’s outdoor patio like to focus on the food and the Chicago weather.

Anyone who lives around this neighborhood knows this spot 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 - Amazing Margaritas, I got the guava and mango 🥭 (Manager's favorites) - Tastes really fresh and fruity but not fake - 16 Flavors to choose from: Mango, Strawberry, Lime, Raspberry, Blueberry, Guava, Tamarindo, Peach, Chamoy, Coconut, Blue Caracao, Banana, Jamaica, Horchata, Blood Orange Passionfruit - Rim Choices: Salt, Chilli Salt, Tajin, No Salt or Sugar - Huge Sizes, mine was the large 12oz one. It's the same price as normal cocktails out there but 3x the size. Insane! One was actually enough for me 😂 got me tipsy haha 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 - Even BETTER Pina Colada in a pineapple 🍍. I really want you to try this, fresh pineapple + coconut + rum . What's not to love? It was DELICIOUS - Huge patio with lots of seating. At least 20 tables I think - Authentic Mexican food , recommend their shrimp tacos & carne asada fajita. It's the servers favorites - Large portions 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 - $16 large margarita ($19 Mega & $38 pitchers also available for larger groups. Or if you want to have it yourself 😂🤷♀️) - $26 Steak Fajitas - $22 Shrimp Tacos - $10 Elote We were too full to have their churros or flan. Will be back! Cesars is known for their margaritas and so much more. We loved the dishes we tried, especially the quesa-barria. Not to mention, the location itself is very spacious, including a full size bar and outdoor patio. The margaritas come in many options that you can even get frozen — perfect for the summer! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Such a fun restaurant!! The drinks are so delicious and come in several sizes. They have a great patio space! And the food they have available is delicious and perfect for a margarita happy hour!! Service is great. Definitely recommend!
