At Cesar’s, we aim to tempt your taste buds as we tempt you outside. Our exceptional staff loves to serve you in the great outdoors at our restaurant’s outdoor patio, so you have a great dining experience.
All-Season (Just About!) Outside Patio Dining
Spring and summer in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago is a fantastic time to enjoy both the weather and Cesar’s Mexican cuisine, hand-prepared according to a family recipe using only the freshest ingredients. There’s nothing like eating fresh food while enjoying fresh breezes!
Cesar’s restaurant’s outdoor patio is open not only during warm months when the weather is nice, but also when it gets cold (which, as we know, it gets cold in Chicago). We add barriers to the outdoor patio along with heaters that make dining outside an absolute delight, even when it’s cold outside. To make sure you are nice and cozy, we serve a number of specialty hot winter libations, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic libations.
To Serve You Better…
To ensure all our guests can enjoy Cesar’s outdoor patio dining, we do have a couple of simple rules:
- 90-minute limit on all outside patio tables (that’s plenty of time to eat, digest, take in the Lakeview scenery, and then let another party get the same experience; remember, you can always come back another day!).
- All outside patio dining tables have a maximum six-person seating capacity.
- Please, turn down your phone; better yet, turn it off—diners at Cesar’s outdoor patio like to focus on the food and the Chicago weather.

- 16 Flavors to choose from: Mango, Strawberry, Lime, Raspberry, Blueberry, Guava, Tamarindo, Peach, Chamoy, Coconut, Blue Caracao, Banana, Jamaica, Horchata, Blood Orange Passionfruit
- Rim Choices: Salt, Chilli Salt, Tajin, No Salt or Sugar
- Huge Sizes, mine was the large 12oz one. It's the same price as normal cocktails out there but 3x the size.

- Authentic Mexican food , recommend their shrimp tacos & carne asada fajita. It's the servers favorites
- Large portions

"My cousin and I found this place on #TikTok and thought it would be nice to try. Immediately upon sitting down, we got the best waiter ever, Alfonzo.
Alfonzo was so kind, so helpful, and actually paid attention and listened to us! He helped us pick items and even suggested these bomb plant-based #AlPastor tacos for me. I told him I was #vegetarian and he laid out all the options for me with no hesitation.
He was more than patient when it came to answering our questions and on top of all that the food was great!! I give this place a 10/10, and having Alfonzo is a must. He really the MVP!! My cousin tried the #BirriaTacos, a hit."
