Of course, tequila is an essential ingredient in Cesar’s famous KILLER margaritas, known for both the quality of the tequila as well as the amount of tequila.
Cesar tequila is available for delivery, pick-up, and dine-in, except for flights, which are dine-in only. Located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Cesar’s tequila and killer margaritas are the best in town.
The Finest Tequilas
As the Mexican restaurant of choice in Chicago, Cesar’s selects only the finest tequila brands to serve our customers. In fact, Cesar’s staff makes an annual trip to visit the Herradura Tequila Distillery in Mexico to handpick the finest tequila for our customers. We even take home entire barrels of tequila distilled just for Cesar’s Killer Margaritas, including the Herradura Double-Barrel Reposado.
We recognize that there are a variety of tastes for different tequila brands and different price points that are more attractive to our patrons. Whatever your preference, we have the tequila to make your evening at Cesar’s special.
History of Tequila
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant. The name comes from the city of, not surprisingly, Tequila, where the native red volcanic soil in the surrounding areas of the Jaliscan highlands is particularly well suited to growing blue agave. Mexican law requires that any drink branding itself as tequila must be produced in Jalisco (though there are some exceptions). At Cesar’s, we only serve the highest quality of tequila, with the widest variety available in Chicago according to whether aged a year or more, rested between 2 to 11 months, or bottled in 4 weeks or less.

The fajitas were pretty good. The queso fondido was amazeballs. The staff was friendly enough, but it was a bit difficult to order with the waitress due to a bit of a language barrier. She was super nice though!
I would come back if I had a craving for fondido, but otherwise, this place would not go on my repeat list.
