Axios Chicago compiled a list of Chicagoan’s favorite soups for colds and Cesar’s Killer Margaritas sopa de fideo made the cut! Despite the current mild temperatures so far this autumn, people are getting sick with a cold or flu and winter is coming soon with vengeance some believe.
So we love the fact that Axios decided to recently check out some local cold-fighting soup suggestions. And we love even more that we were not only nominated but made the list of Chicago favorites!
Our Sopa de Fideo is made with angel hair pasta simmered in a light chicken and tomato broth, topped with cilantro. You can order a cup, small bowl, or large bowl for dine-in, curbside pickup, or delivery in and nearby the Lake View, Chicago area.
We also have two other staple soups that are great for colds on our starter menu:
Sopa Azteca – Strips of corn tortilla sautéed in a tomato base broth, seasoned with epazote. Served with sour cream and Añejo cheese.
Black Bean Sopa – Hearty black beans, simmered with fresh epazote, topped with spicy chipotle sauce, sour cream, onions, cilantro, and tomato.
Introducing two new seasonal soups that are also fantastic for colds on our food specials menu:
